I've been sat pulling my hair out guys , someone able to help me trouble shoot .

    Ryzen 2600
    Asrock b450m pro 4
16gb dual 8gb Corsair vengeance lpx
    Evga 1070sc
    Seasonic 520w S2 bronze

So all built , powers on, lights up , then restarts , nothing on screen , stays powered for 30 seconds

Happens both with gpu and onboard hdmi

Tried with 1 rams stick , tried that stick in different slots

8 pin CPU power is in and reseated , 24 pin in and reseated ,

Took out the gpu , usb 3 cable, disconnected the sata drives , left pretty much board and power . No speaker included but no beeding either.

    Ideas

Did you have the RAM in slots A2 & B2?

Edit: Looking at the support in the manual even a single stick i'd be looking to put in A2.

Try loosening your CPU cooler a quarter turn on each side of the mount. See if that helps. If not, another quarter.

If it's no different, then screw back down.

Could be a bad motherboard, CPU or RAM. Hard to diagnose without extra parts.

Tried the memory in each slot same issue , even went and borrowed a friend's gskill stuff. Same issue

Tried loosening the cooler, same issue

I'm gonna research the CPU and put on the stock cooler see if that works

If you tried other memory, then your CPU or your motherboard aren't functioning correctly.

so my brother came up, brought his ryzen build, he checked over everything, looked fine, tried a few things just what was mentioned don here, nothing, still on and off, pulled out all my stuff and put in his, worked a treat.

Moved his stuff to mines and it booted and worked :-o

Put all my stuff back in it, and it worked !!!!

So in total, we both have no idea why it didnt work, but seems to be fine now . very odd

    Sounds like what @Shirty says.

I did think of suggesting rebuilding out of the case, not sure why i didnt.

Anyway, glad to hear it's all working. :thumb:

We've all been there, pulling out hair for the most random of reasons.

    I have no hair.

Sometimes with this kind of thing I've had it fixed just by reseating the CPU. Not sure why but it's worked several times in the past!
