    Very descriptive :lol:

    My g/f has got me a Gamecube for my birthday (3 weeks away) and I can't wait to get this game. Loved it on N64 so I'm sure I will love it just as much on the GC

    The controls are perfect, graphics sublime, music memorable and handling is superb! You've got to be quite precise to get those all important item boxes.

    The shine battle game is awesome..

    TBH, I'm glad it's not changed too much from the original Mario Kart, it was practically perfect in the beginning.

    has anyone tried the Warp pipe project (similar to xbox connect) for online play.... would apprecate some UK opion before I shell out for a BB adaptor

    This game is so damn good, it makes my teeth hurt!

    Played it all night long, so much fun. I've always preferred the lighter quicker-accelerating players so my fave pairing so far is Para and Baby Bowser in the Green Shell kart.

    The DK course. Is that the one with the big mountain downhill? That one's completely awesome. The Special Cup tracks are pretty solid though. Alright to drive on your own, but throw 7 other karts on and it gets mighty hard!

    I love that the driving still has the feel of the original (play MK a lot on my GBA which I love) but the added feature of 2 chars per Kart is just brilliant.

    Ordered myself a BBA from PlayAsia.com last week for only £26 (£33 inc P&P) which was a bargain I thought. It arrived at home on Wednesday, just waiting for the folks to foward it on to get some WarpPipe MP action going awn. :D

    MK is not out yet in the US it is going to be released on the 17. It was released on the 14 in europe. I pre-ordered mine so I get that demo disc thing.

    It's an incredibly close one.

    I'd say that MKDD is infuriatingly difficult sometimes. For instance, bananas across the full width of the track leaving no option but to hit them. However, the game's so much fun that you just try again, and again, and again...

    I'd say they're equals :D
