looking at getting a 20gb ipod, most places i've looked seem to be out of stock atm, anyone know of a place ?
Try the online Apple store: http://store.apple.com/Apple/WebObjects/ukstore/ Estimated build time is 1-2 days, so you'd get it in a week. (Bare in mind that they actually manufacture iPods to order, they don't have vast stocks of them on hand - and that they ship direct from the factory in Taipei).

You'll probably have to get your rellie's to buy it for you, as Apple will probably require a US postal address to send it to. Plus if you do buy direct from them, you'll be liable for VAT and Import duty. Get them to purchase it and give them the cash back, and they can bring it over when they visit.
well obviously i was gonna send it to my relatives US address, and they were gonna bring it over at xmas. ive sent an email to apple inquiring how i would go about purchasing an ipod for my uncle, if there are any problems i prolly will get them to buy it i hope they do!! lol
