Pay attention to file rivets in that way, they could break!!

 

Oh, yeah. Dot has a point. It would be better to add a dimple in the cover plating over the rivet.

 

thanks for the suggestions I did some tests and the rivets hold up very well and other supports will be applied that will make the structure more resistant.

its really relieving to see someone go the extra mile and make it all themselves. in times of seductive machines like 3d printing lasers, cnc and co. great work here. i just sued a laser too on my spaceship and it was just too easy to reproduce parts, I love handwork.
