Ahh... however you slice it, my XA1 is OP for my needs; bring back text & call primarily phones for huge "shovel" hands & I'll be happy.

If only a 6-7" tablet could be used as a 'phone...

They can but get your wallet out. It adds considerable cost. I have had two 6" phablets now and they're great for forum surfing :)

    LOL, 'phablet.
Used to be that going small cost more, not the other way round.

So; they're basically tablets with SIM slots?

That's why I get my information from the NHS rather than any of the multitude of quack sites.

Well, after finding a design I was really happy with and then a tattoo artist that had the balls and skills to take the job on (at least 6 said "no way, not with that many lines!", and then waiting 5 months for my appointment, I got all the linework done on my new tattoo. Getting the shading, highlighting and dotwork done in another 3 weeks.

Is that a wolf? Looks amazing! :thumb:

On topic: nothing special, just that my cold seems to leave me and that just makes me happy.

6 hour session just for the linework. :) Tattooist was cross-eyed by the end of it! There are a few small mistakes here and there, but nothing I could complain about. Any slight mishaps will be corrected in the next session.

Aye, it's the Norse god of war, Tyr and the demon-wolf, Fenrir. Always been a big fan of Norse mythology.

Tyr (Tiw in Old English) is also the god whom Tuesday is named after, Tiw's Day.

Last night the strangest thing happened.

It was around 8pm and I was craving chocolate. Only thing is at that time of night, ironically, the only place open is the Tesco Express near my old flat. It's about 2.5 miles away.

I decided to go and hopped on my BMX. I got onto the beach path but as I got within range of my exit I could see someone standing in the way. After thinking "I hope he's not a nutter" I saw him bend down and start rubbing the ground. Now I was starting to worry even more. For sure he must be crackers or drunk oh crap I gotta deal with it.

As I got about 10m away he stood up and walked off. Thank **** for that. When I reached the ramped exit he was blocking I realised he'd been writing BREXIT all over the path in chalk. Hard core.

Not sure if that is campaigning or just being a nut case but there's not much difference it seems.

I recognise those names - well; adaptations of them - from World of Warcraft...

... just as we have Woden, Thor & Frigg to thank for the three that follow. :)

    Just learned, today:
Woden was married to Frigg & Thor & Tiw were two of their children...

You should all read Neil Gaiman's retelling of the Norse myths. Very interesting, very entertaining.
