At that price, yeah. They're especially fun in the 4-player co-op, but my first playthrough was solo and I still had a grand old time.

It's a very, very grindy series. It's for people who like that sort of thing.

I've only played the first one and it was a lot of going back and forth, with the same enemies respawning in the same places in the same areas once you were a certain distance.

Apparently Borderlands 2 is even worse/'better'.

This is the answer if you want to be one of those people with 2000 games in their account because they bought games for being 'cheap', rather than actually wanting them, and so you tell yourself you've saved 90% when in reality you've wasted thousands of pounds 'cause you've only properly played (rather than 'tested') a few hundred of them at most.

I have the first one, but I've never played it for more than an hour. I just couldn't get in to it. Borderlands 2, on the other hand, I found extremely entertaining.
Don't judge The Wrath of Khan based on your experience with The Motion Picture.

Just pre-ordered Cyberpunk on PC for £37.72. At £40.95 (£45.95 for console currently), The Game Collection delivers as always:

    https://www.thegamecollection.net/games/cyberpunk-2077/

Key sites are even cheaper, but why take the risk? Especially to completely screw over the guys who gave us GOG.

I backed a book of game design documentation from Zachtronics' Zach Barth - and it's lovely - but you can now snag the digital version on Steam - complete with PDF of the book, every pre-Spacechem game he's ever written, and a bunch of never-before-released prototypes. Oh, and it's free.

Steam Summer Sale has gone live, till July 9th, and the servers are already feeling the strain.

I know how this goes, but... yup I checked my wishlist and still same prices as last few years. More expensive in some cases.

There's no trading card/free money thing for looking at your discovery queue I'm guessing.

I'm not gonna read that essay about the 'grand prix' gimmick, I'm guessing I just join team Corgi then press boost a lot until I can't any more.

Tin foil hat time: I wonder if they deliberately reduce server capacity at the start of sales to try to evoke some sort of hype.
