beautiful case

can't wait to see it painted

 

update ( i m working like madman because on monday my holydays are ended then i do my best to go on with this project )

the final hd bracket which come out of old case, it will be brusshed and paint black









it will be hold on by silentblocks to kill noise to the max

 

i also finished the lcd box which will hide cables and support buttons for on/off, backlight and contrast

















then i tested lcd backlight in the dark

 

absolutely beautiful!

& you're English is nothing to be ashamed of... heck, even being able to read another language (even UK English, lol) would be a significant accomplishment for me!

piloux, glad you changed your signature! Are you aiming for a matt or gloss black finish when it's completed?

 

well i think i m going to paint it with a black gloss colour but i like mat black too i just have been painting a junction box with mat black and it s very cool it s difficult for me to have any idea about the final result of painting, may be i ll paint in mat and if i dont like result i ll put several layers of varnished shining above( hope it s the good words and you understand me)

 

Yep, I understood you completely piloux. That's what I would do if I were you. Try it with matt and if you don't like the finish, just add varnish or paint gloss black over it.

its an old box which very need to be paint

the box will be place ther to distribute cables coming from the double panel ground, in fact

Yeah I see what you mean. That junction box looks very nice indeed. It's amazing what sanding and painting can achieve!

J'aime bien l'idée de la plaque en bas pour cacher les cables... tu comptes faire sortir les cables directement de la boite de jonction, ou tu va installer des prises ? ca serait sympa ca je trouve Bon, vais dormir moi, j'ai sommeil ...
