Unknown to me I have a stack of tokens that gives me a £5 discount! Still have enough to knock £20 off some more purchases. I'll look for some games I can add to my list of unplayed shame!

BMW 18" MV1 Alloys - Refurbed in glossy black - While not to everyones taste and making me look even more like a drug dealer I'm happy with the purchase.

Put a cheeky bid £90 under asking and was accepted, given the original asking price was £80 under what a new set of basic aftermarket alloys would cost I think I got myself a deal and its going to mean if any more potholes try taking me out I'm going to be able to source individual replacements rather than sets!!!

Also when it comes to sell the car it'll appeal a bit more than a set of dodgy Ukrainian rims that not even the internet can source!

That would have to be matt/satin black, not gloss.

Needed more RAM, an it matches the board very very nicely. had 2X4Gb gone up to 2X8Gb.
Really need to do some shorter cables at some point though so I can "show off" the innards.

Dysom AM08 pedestal fan. Just the thing for a warm humid day like today and quiet enough, on a low setting, to use over night.

Got it from the Dyson Outlet Ebay store, 250 quid, down from 350.

Great deal for a fan, only £50 more than an actual air conditioner!

We have the app enabled one in our bedroom at it is the awesome - cost mucho monies though but totally worth it for not having to worry if you lose the controller as our phones are the controller

Also have other cheapo fans but they are for other rooms and guests - we're here all the time and yes we are terrible selfish consumerist trash :rock::rock:

    "Behold, my innovative bladeless fan!"

But... it's got blades. You've just hidden 'em in a box and pushed the air up through a piece of plastic pipe.

    "BLADELESS!"

    Flamin' Dyson.

Say what you like about his marketing, still a very clever chap/company.

I just replaced the cable reel in our 16 year old Dyson DC08, while I was there I replaced the motor and power switch as well - all for £74 from Amazon - and ran all the plastic parts through the dishwasher, it'll probably last another 16 years, built like a tank.

I don't really "get" the fans and hair dryers.

The vacs, absolutely. The cordless ones have literally changed my life, and before that the corded one I had (and still have to be fair, but don't really use) was excellent.
I groan when I'm in a public bathroom and there's a hand dryer that's not an airblade.

The rest just just hit me as a design-first receptacle that they can put one of "their" motors in to crank some easy cash.
