Devils in the detail, change the host name to something suitably sinister like Damien or the like.

Hurt my back, don't know how but the pain started about 10pm last night. Now it hurts to sit up, or sit down, or sit still, or breathe.

Script that I've been working on has seemingly stopped working with no changes on my end. Can't work out for the life of me wtf is going on.

My curse of constantly trying to re-invent the wheel strikes again!

I was looking at some VDO sensors and they had this weird connector type I didn't recognise. I found an Aussie listing for the sensor with the name of the connector type, but could I buggery find the other side.

I emailed my preferred automotive parts store that also carries those sensors, and they sent me an email back. The spade terminal slides over the top sideways.

That wasn't a waste of google time trying to find out what it is, and then trying to find reputable alternatives. Not at all.

Despite new hardware launches, I'm still no closer to finalising my build upgrade. OK; it's a "first world problem", but subjectivity is what this thread is about, methinks.

Well the Ranger has been fully repaired and serviced under warranty so zero cost for us:) plus a free loan ranger for the duration of the repairs. All in all not bad service and hassle free, one email and a phone call to arrange collection, loan vehicle and a single email to arrange exchange of vehicles after repairs.

Only minor complaint is a slight lack of communication regards what went wrong but it appears that my initial assessment of a bolt failure was correct.

Turns out basically I have booked two weeks off thinking it would be a few days doing the mothers jobs, turns out its actually the entire two weeks of tasks of which the first one is already running over due to her deciding I needed to take her to get something she doesn't need. Also the running late is naturally my fault.

So, no birthday (doesn't matter that's just a reminder how hopeless I am) no seeing any friends like I had planned or days out like you do when your on holiday. May sound a little petty but this is literally every year, every time I book time off work, I'm fed up with it, then I get blamed for not having friends, not having a relationship an not going out, give up with it.

Tummy bug and heat. It's still humid which is not nice when you're ill. Feel dizzy, sweating badly enough and bad tummy which is all made worse by the heat and my choice to finally get "A big beard" off my bucket list.

    Ugh.

The slow realisation that I can't leave the world of smart phones, with my reliance on 2FA applications.

Yes, there are hardware options, but there doesn't seem to be one that supports everything I have 2FA on it seems. I could have multiple, but frankly I'd rather not.

Considered dropping slabs on my hands earlier in the hope of horrific injuries, turns out I'm just gutless

When they ask how I died tell them: still sweating.

Srsly. This house is un-f***ing-bearably hot. I'm gonna wake up several times tonight in a puddle of my own sweat... again.

Please don't. You're not gutless, just intelligent enough to know that you'd regret it.

I keep putting off a minor surgery to basically use a drill to widen the channels leading to the chambers because apparently mine are too narrow, hence the "again" part. I have issues with it 3-6 times a year.
