PC is now running on a Pico PSU somehow. Now makes me want a smaller case as the highest component is 47mm. But I'm being sensible going to play with larger coolers.

If you ever wanted to know how big New Zealand actually was (or are just mapnerds), here is a pic of NZ superimposed on a map of Europe...

Also interesting in a geeky way is the size of NZ's territorial waters...

Of course it always grates on us that we are smaller than our South-West Pacific American cousins...

    To put it into context...

    And the most awesome part?

Lots of fabulous data about God's Own Country!
Yes, Australia is absurdly large and empty....
I think the data on the last map would be somewhat different if it was showing sheep per sq Km!

Aye but even in the uninhabited/low population areas you'll always find either a bogan or a freedom camper. Or both. Or one in the same. :)

    That nothing-to-lose feeling.

Filled in 2 company PPI complaints forms as the deadline is near.
Not sure if I ever had it.
    Can't remember any details.
Not sure if anything will happen.
    Nothing to lose.

Not sure which category to file this under - awesome or ruin - but I'm gonna take a stab at my new build...
I may be gone for some time... but I hope not too long.

Indeed, if you win, you get handy money back, if you don't, at least you know where you stand and won't pass the deadline wondering "what if?"

They may do, NZ sheep numbers outnumber the Welsh sheep numbers by 3 to 1...

    https://www.nzherald.co.nz/the-country/news/article.cfm?c_id=16&objectid=12192340

    https://www.walesonline.co.uk/news/wales-news/chicken-farms-wales-sheep-eggs-16073468

TLDR; sheep numbers in NZ are around 27 million, Wales around 9.5 million.

TLDR (2); there used to be over 70 million sheep in NZ in the early 80's, a ratio of 22 for every person, now it is a lonely 5.6 for every person. Let the meme's begin...

@Fingers66 so my cousins didn't lie to me when I first visited in the late 80s, just had the ratio a bit high telling me 25:1.
They had some goats and cattle, but majored in blackcurrants, for Ribena I was told...

It used to be very active, most mods would frequent, and of course the old CS clan used it to arrange matches and practice. I think Hex remains camped out there to this day :)

Further to 'ruin' thread, no time like reverting your PC to its' previous build to upgrade/update yer S-ATA cables (yeah; the ones you got supplied with the mainboard you got for ya 50th birthday); seems older (12-15yr old) items apparently do wear out/'go off'.

    True enough.

I had a pc issue some time ago, looked at everything, reattached everything. Scratching my head i thought 'sod it, lets try sata cables' and it sorted it out.

    Little buggers.

Just had my "last meal" before surgery tomorrow. Crunchynut cornflakes and a gingerbread latte. Ralph my cat has come to sit with me within stroking distance which is a rarity. Need to move my rig downstairs for post op entertainments, but will have to entrust that job to my wife as it's a touch on the heavy side... Maybe it can just stay upstairs :hehe:
