Very sorry dragon2, my email has been down the last day or so. I sent a reply but it looks like fohkus has answered your question anyway.

    Definitely no laser cutting.

    :)

(dragon2 needed to answer a debate going on in an italian forum regarding the cutting of my plexi).

    Re: Re: Re: Please reply......

All the cutting and shaping of plexi in the mod was done using one or more of the following (starting with the most commonly used items):

    Hacksaw (most of the work)
    Files
    Sandpaper and sanding block
    Plexi-drills
    Holesaws
    Dremel cutting wheel
Router (used twice on cutting the case holes)
Bandsaw (used on only a couple of pieces before the blade broke)
Disk Sander (used once on the HDD rack mounting blocks)

    That's about it.

I'm flattered folks think it looks laser or water cut :)
Even if you don't want to read the text, there are plenty of pictures in the logs themselves showing my cutting and shaping.

    ;)

    Dear G-gnome,

I really love your work. But I have a question that is not directly related to your masterpiece. Is it correct that you have written software to edit your projectlog?
