    Oh absolutely!

Half the fun is figuring out what I just broke when either overclocking or tinkering and the other half is fixing it!

    :D

Wow, you really were around at the beginning when they first captured magic and trapped it in a box.

By virtue of me owning a Toyota 86, I was just invited to come test drive the new 2020 Supra this afternoon... on a race track.
Not sure of the details, but I was told "we'll meet you at the track, just after 12..." so that's a pleasant surprise.

My cheapskate hack for easily weighing desktop PCs works a treat - and tells me that Dell has overestimated the weight of its Inspiron desktop by about 0.7kg - even after I rounded my measurement up from 5.15kg to 5.2kg to match sig-figs. Now I can quickly weigh 'em all as they're going through photography, no need to mess-arse about with bathroom scales or buy something professional and expensive I've got no piggin' room to store.

Five hours later and most of the swirls are not in the Fiesta paintwork anymore.

Downside, I'm now intimately acquainted with every ding, scratch, bodge repair, and scuff still on the paintwork.

Fortunately it's only a daily driver, so it could be worse..

My neighbour is a total legend, He's actually from the estate behind us but his garden nestles into the corner of our estate.

I've never met him before until the weekend, when he peered over my garden wall to compliment my handy work with some pallets creating a beer garden-esque seating area. We got chatting about how I'd likely have to paint the second bench and table a different colour as I couldn't seem to source red cedar stain locally and I wasn't keen on leaving it any longer when it had been subjected to enough rain and I didn't have a tarpaulin to hand.

"Leave it to me, I might be able to help you out there" I suspected he might return with a tarpaulin or something to protect it from the rain until I could source the correct stuff online, Ideal!

Later on that evening I came back out to the garden, freshly charged drill battery ready to put the final structural pieces in when suddenly "Ahoy!"

he came trotting along my back wall with a 95% full 9L drum of red cedar stain he'd dug out from his garage that was the exact match to the bench I'd previously painted. I said I'd pay him and return what was left and he told me not to bother, He enjoyed helping people out and since we've moved in looking out his bedroom is much more pleasant as it overlooks our tidy garden that was once a tip* (from the previous tenants)

It sounded like because it occupied most of his view from the window it had really got him down living next door.

*literally stock piling rubbish in an overgrown garden... sounded vile

Speaking of gardens, my little cherry tomato plant is actually fruiting!

    upload_2019-8-23_10-52-25.png

And that second-generation rocket I planted from the first batch that went to seed is growing, too - thus proving that now I've grown it from commercial seeds once I've basically got an infinite supply of rocket (providing I can store the seeds over winter without 'em rotting or going mouldy, anyway...)

I've got tomatoes galore now, cherry and mini yellow plum. Waiting on the the full size ones to start ripening.
Sweetcorns worked a treat too, Onions and Beetroot have done OK. The beans, peas and peppers came to nothing for some reason, Cabbages got munched along with the leafy salad an turnips, no idea why as they were all covered.
Fruit wise Strawberries are first years so very little fruit anyway, same with the Rhubarb, Raspberries are coming on along with the blackberries and apples.

Not a large garden an I'll admit its not me doing it, its the mother but I did the bulk of the ground prep.

Got my first W on Fortnite. Never played it before, but for some reason, loving playing it on the Switch at lunch in work.

Got my first bit of energy in 5 days. God dammit withdrawal sucks. I was starting to worry there was something seriously wrong with me tbh.

Not too sure if it is 'awesome' or not, but this new build just posted a similar single core Cinebench R20 score to an i7-7700K.

I know, I know... small things.
