Build Advice 3.5 HDD mounting holes

    so i am in the process of upgrading hdds in my nas built around the node 804 case
    the new hdds have 2 holes spaced far out on each side, and hdd brackets only have holes for 2 near ones on each side. do anyone have any solutions for this issue

    man that is perfect and so simple, many thanks for pointing it out to me

    bigger 10tb+ hdds have only 2 holes these days, its an issue if the case has a weird mounting mechanism like the node series of cases which mainly use the first and middle holes. bit of a faff considering how popular this cases are for nas boxes

    No worries :) Years ago I used old PCI slot blanking plates to make extenders to add a few more drives below a cage so very similar.
