It would seem that the main 'box' - for want of another description - is full of oil...

Nay, Navara, Tekna trim w/ sunroof, bed liner, roll top and bars. 700 mile 19 plate pre-reg.

I found the Hilux (and the Ranger) a bit bouncy, what with the rear leaf springs. AFAIK the 19 facelifted Rangers have this sussed, but there's no money to be had off those at the moment.
The X-Class was also nice, what on account of it being a Navara with £20k of makeup. But it's the £20k of makeup that put me off that.

Ah good stuff. I have a Mitsubishi L200 (2017) Series 5 (?). Wonderful beast of a thing. No "bling" apart from a few base chrome stuff and a bed liner (can't use a rear cab due to awkward loads regularly). Lovely to drive, tightest turning circle of them all, ~800Km from a 70-litre tank. 105,000 Km on her already, since March 2017.

    Now I'm sober/hungover...

Alexrims GD26 with Novatec hubs - £85 they are OE version of the CXD4's which retail for £320

Shimano RS505 shifters with brake calipers - £200 Retail price £320

Shimano RS500 Crankset (I put the wrong model on here) £49.99 Retail 89.99

Chain, tires the RX800 rear mech and M7000 cassttee all retail prices.

Saving £395 over etailer part prices. Add to this the frame which was reduce due to a couple of paint chips from £675 to £210, thats £860 "saved" so far just by hunting round a bit :blah: few more things needed see how close I can get to saving 1£K.

So, I was looking at the upcoming Lego 75252 Star Destroyer but decided it wasn't that impressive since it lacked interior detail. However, I've always wanted to have a large Lego model on display. To this end, I've dipped my toes into the MOC world:

All the bricks needed should be with me inside of a fortnight. I'm hoping to finish it before Christmas. I plan to get a few mini scale X-wings, Y- Wings, a Millenium Falcon and various TIE fighter/bomber variants to go with it. I might even go for a 'Trench Run' diorama.

Anyway, I'll start up a thread once I start building it.

Oof! The only MOC I've put together was the 400 piece stand for the UCS falcon, and that was enough of a PITA to source and inventory. I can't even imagine the level of effort to do it for 15000 pieces
