So I use Win10 as my main PC and my server has Win7 Ultimate which I RDP into (within the house) to control and do things.

When I do Win7 loses it's theme and reverts to basic theme even though it's set to max LAN settings. it's a bit off putting.
When I use Team Viewer to remote in the these remain.

I get the feeling it's an issue on Win10 as I backed up the server and did a fresh install of Windows 7 to test the RDP and was the same (then restored).

I don't like using Team Viewer in the house as RDP looks native on the second monitor but TV maintains the resolution the PC has.

    Anyone able to guide me

It's pretty much a bug with windows 7, tons of people reporting it. (guessing you've got everything turned on in the 'experience' menu of rdp client?)
I've found it much much easier to use Chrome Remote Desktop when connecting to servers via workstations (https://remotedesktop.google.com/)

Yep, all turned on (that's what she said)

I'll give Chrome one ago, am sure I have in the passed

    Cheers
