I used to have some software to turn jpgs to vector images. I'll see if I can find them and get back to you. Or I'll re draw it as a vector.

I'll have to talk to my friend who owns the laser tomorrow and let you know.

I might be interested in have a pc60 side panel done too, what sort of prices would a fairly detail window be?

    More than a dremel?

You probably could get a dremel for less than having a panel cut on a laser. These big ones cost a lot to run, power gases and all.

TekMonkey: Iwasn't able to get in touch with my friend yesterday. I am going by his shop tomorrow with one of my side panels that I cut with a dremel and see how much he would charge to cut it on the laser. That should give everyone an idea of how much their ideas would cost.

Sorry, I dropped it by there yesterday and he said he would have his laser operator look at it. I called him today and he said he was busy and would let me know tomorrow morning. Sorry about the delay. I'll let you know as soon as I hear something.

Well, it looks like the laser work I was hoping to be able to get done for people isn't going to happen. I keep getting jerked around by my "so-called friend". I have to apologize to any one this may have inconvenienced. Doesn't look like I'll be able to get my own shop going either. Turns out that a job I was going after, that could have supported my overhead, well, my old boss, who's working for another shop now, stole it out from under me. So, again my apologies to all of you who responded, trying to help me out. Time to hit the bricks and find a job.Thank all of you for the support.

I wouldn’t look at it as a personal attack on you’re friendship. The dude probably didn’t want to get involved with running a bunch of small jobs. Where’s the incentive? It must cost a small fortune to fire that thing up.

    That's a ***** getting undercut like that...don't give up.

why not buy both the lathes and then sell one for money to make payments with until you can start using the other one to support the payments?

Couldn't. Would be leasing the lathes. Can't sell what I don't own.
