Yup. Space for drives is the limiting factor. NVME just vanish hehe.

Just a shame they bin S-ATA ports in the process...
Ohh, wait - is this for one of those special 'boards that has a c**p-ton of them to start with?

Awwwww poo - it's an ANSI layout, not an ISO layout! I literally did not notice that until I got the actual keyboard, even though it's right there in the photo.

That'll take some time to get my head around, especially when it's literally the only ANSI board I own...

Can't see what's different - looks like a UK layout, to me...

Look at the top row, Sterling has gone missing.

Yeah, and no # key next to Enter. Bleurgh! Cannot abide ANSI, I'm far too used to ISO to use anything else. Fortunately I'm not fussed about mechanical keyboards so it's not an issue ;)

Well it'll be handy on the 31st when we leave Europe and Sterling disappears altogether.

ANSI, ISO, US layout, PT layout, stupid Mac layout and shortcuts, I've got muscle memory for it all. Once I start switching frequently between them however, things get muddled very quickly.

10 or 12 IIRC. Problem is the case can only hold 3 3.5". There's two in there already, plus I have two 120gb 2.5" going in and a 2.5" 2tb Firecuda.

So the ssds will probably have to live in the mobo chamber somewhere. Hence why I may as well get an NVME. The board has it and supports if with no real estate penalty.

I got one of those with yellow caps on. I've also got the same one with blue switches and sunrise keys. I like both. They both feel much more expensive than they were. Great size too, don't eat up lots of desk space.

Glad you were wrong about the quality btw. They're ace for the price.

I think the implication is that Sterling will disappear in the way the Zimbabwean Dollar disappeared.

Anyway, keyboard wise personally I've been known to use QWERTZ because the price was right (£15 for full cherry mech, who could say no??), so US layout doesn't bother me.
As long as it has roughly the correct number of keys in approximately the right places it's fine

To fuel my bitterness and because a reuseable cup and buying beans is cheaper/more eco friendly.

Seems alright so far. Bit weird using a mech board in work, but that's because I got used to using the spongy crap they supplied me with. Lack of dedicated F-keys might be a problem, although it might actually help prevent me running dangerous scripts because I can no longer accidentally frob F5!

It's one function key and the corresponding number. It becomes second nature tbh. My keycaps are mostly blank and I'm good.

Took me a while to get into bios lol. It's an F2er :D
