With underfloor heating everything's fine. And we have 3.7m high ceilings at the lowest point, 4.2m at the highest.

I suspect perplekks45 has a perfectly normal house but is actually laying on his side. The "underfloor heating" fitted is just conventional radiators.

Hahaha. Reminds me of a game I used to play in bed as a kid. Grab a mirror and live upside down.

    Early VR mate, honest :D

It's actually a top-floor (2nd floor) flat. Apartment for our friends over in the new lands.

Every time I change my bedding and most specifically the duvet cover I feel like I've conquered Everest.

Glad I'm back on a double. Super king is a nightmare of epic proportions.

I never saw the point in Superkings, I'd get 3/4 of the way through and just stub them out anyway.

I used to have a king bed and a woman who wanted 80% of the covers. It was the only way there was enough left for me lol.

I have just ordered a new one too. Another Kone Pure Owl Eye. Didn't need it yet but was going to get one for the new system I am planning on slowly putting together over the next few months and my old one is still in Brazil. £15 less than normal and I needed something to qualify me for free delivery.

What mouse have you gone for?

    Epic destination is EPIC!
    Photos please!
THE swimming pool and the ferris wheel are iconic items IMHO

@perplekks45 Not sure if I want to go there myself, but I do find it really intriguing.
    - note to self, MUST watch last part of Chernobyl

I had the good fortune to get a ticket to visit Orford Ness (excuse the easy link) last year, to see the AWRE test area which is usually off limits to National Trust visitors.
Amazing and spooky place, it's all crumbling and less safe to visit every year.
The NT have no intention to preserve the buildings, which are unique and document an incredible part of our secret history.
I have wanted to see the Pagodas for as long as I knew they existed, very surreal seeing them close up, and being able to go into one of them.
My photos were OK, but didn't do the place justice.
Apparently, if you've been once, you can enquire about one of the super rare overnight photo trips giving you more time there.

If you want to get a more in-depth look read Serhii Plokhy's book. :thumb:

Got to the gate for my 10:30pm flight back from Canada Last night. They ask for volunteers to get bumped as they had overbooked.

After sitting for a while after they started at $500 voucher, I finally enquired when they got to $2400 cad cash. Cash (~£1.4k), hotel room, taxi’s and food vouchers (minor class upgrades too) all for accepting a 11 hour delay. ~6 of those asleep in a hotel room.

Have you read the latest Stephen King? Really interesting how I just read that a few weeks ago and your story is extremely similar to the beginning of the book.
