I'm getting a USB microphone soon and I'd like the option to turn it on/off but it has no power switch on itself. I was thinking an inline on/off switch for Micro USB would work out but they all seem to be power only and no data. Has anyone seen anything which might be suitable? I was thinking to make my own but I'm not sure how safe it would be to just attach the switch to the power line, leaving the two data and ground still connected. Plan B is a small USB extension at which point I can disconnect so I'm no adding additional wear to the micro USB on the microphone :/
i used a https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B071G83CNN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 when I used to use a blue snowball
Cheers for that, I've seen them before but I never thought about just using one of those - had my mind focused on the little inline switch things like you have on lamps lol. Its for a Yeti Nano so very similar setup
