I need to do something to keep my spirit up, it's not so much the expected fallout from Brexit that get's me down, i probably won't be around to witness the long term effects of it, it's the levels of ignorance on display everyday (not on these forums btw).

There is already plenty of talk about extending the transition period, so even that won't be over any time soon and if Switzerland is any indication... well, lets just say they've been negotiating their future relationship with the EU for decades.

Don't even ask what the purpose of that would be...
(especially now that the ERG has said they'll fall in line and all vote for the deal, so it is almost certain to pass)

Not sure you can trust anything coming out of No.10 these days, since Cummings took over it's impossible to know what's a threat and what's something they'll actually do.

The ERG getting on board isn't much of an event either (IMO) as this deal is a more extreme version of May's deal that could result in leaving without a deal at the end of the transition, the opposition to it is probably going to come from the other end of the Conservative party this time.

I fully expect parly to **** the bed though. Going by the comments we look set to brexit out of boredom.

'This deal sucks, but i'll vote fore it because i'm bored and scrutinising the deal and otherwise doing my damn job is effort...' seems to be the refrain on both sides.

Both unsurprising, that he won't ask for an extension, and somehow so deeply infuriating that I'd like to hook him up to something that just poisons him enough to make him feel like **** every day, but not quite enough to actually kill him.

Look mate I've spent hours telling you not to throw yourself of this multi-story car park and how there's so much to live for, quiet frankly I'm really bored now so can't you just jump so i can go home and have my tea.

EDIT: At least we'll know by tonight how he plans to get around the Ben act or if it's going to go to the courts.

He'll send the letter. It just feeds his election campaign either way.

It's rather sad that the government are behaving like children and even worse i expect Boris' deal will be passed by parliament only for them to carry on acting like children during FTA negotiations with us eventually leaving at the end of the transition without having sorted that out.

    R.I.P UK. :(

I'm sure there would be a long line forming to perform said twisting. Levers of sufficient length may be being sought.
