The fact this awful year will be over soon. I thought 2018 was bad, but 2019 was riddled with crap nobody asked for. Way too much to handle properly.

Upgrading my daily and going to a water loop in the new year, and I feel far less comfortable doing that than I did yesterday going cold :D
Cheers I'm pretty happy with it!

Some cheeky on-the-job PC building going on...

She still needs a brain, and some storage (and another 2-3 Fractal blackout fans), but it's looking like a PC!

To anyone asking other than my wife - yes.

If my wife is asking... it's something work related.

Can totally relate. Me and my girl went to a quake LAN earlier this year and it was awesome. Sent me back almost 20 years.

Just finished off a bottle of 15% imperial stout. Pretty much everything seems awesome right now.

Tomorrow morning may have something to add to that appraisal... :p
Might I suggest something 'more solid' to... soften the blow?

Today I discovered why I'd been hearing random beeps & chimes in my car lately...

A couple of months ago, I bought & installed a new dashcam, fitting it directly behind the rear view mirror, so as to not obstruct my view at all.
Today I finally noticed the cam's screen had lit up when I heard one of those mystery bongs.
Turns out the camera (a Garmin 66W) has it's own speed camera map & was warning me one was coming up!

    The Astray Red Frame arrived.

Holy **** is the box big. I was not expecting that. So excited to put it together and paint it.

A great start to Christmas! I was up (a bit) early and went out in the dark with my drone to fly on the first calm day in weeks.
It was beautiful filming the dawn, and i have pictures of the sun rising out of the sea next to the Isle of Wight.
One of those moments that makes you feel good about winter, I hate all that bloody darkness otherwise.

Despite having a no present policy for adults, my step lad bought me pre-release for Resident Evil 3 and some professional grade electrical connectors, what a guy

This is close to where my girlfriend and I will spend a week from 27 Dec to 03 Jan with friends. Remote village a little further North from Arvidsjaur, a house, 6 people, 20+ hours of darkness every day. Best of all: almost no people.
