    Bit of a list today:-
    • 2x Ikea Alex drawer cabinets to make a new desk (I already have a Thyge tabletop to span them, making a 1600x800 desk)
    • Ikea Kolon 1200x1000 floor protector to go under the desk
    • Ikea Tradfri smart lighting starter kit
    • Ring Doorbell Pro
    • Amazon Echo Show 5 (Free with above doorbell, it will also talk to the Ikea lighting)
Doorbell & Echo are because the office I'm building is upstairs in the house, and a "smart" video doorbell seems like a logical choice.
If I angle the bell with some Amazon spacers, it'll double up as CCTV for my upcoming electric car & charging box (see my previous post)

Why does Chambord always look like some fancy bottle of perfume? Someone must have made that mistake at some point

It's fine because the taste is surprisingly similar.

been using Anker/amazon usb socket adapters for eons and kids endup damaging them some how both companys have replaced them with no issues but decided to get a couple of these yesterday and just fitted them, mrs is already a big fan so will prolly get more to place in every room

& my brother borrowed and misplaced/lost my hole saw kit so i got these

and this oops adapter from starret as i needed to enlarge some down light holes, larger bit goes on the out side and smaller one on the inside.
tbh i coulded just done the same with the bits in the kit. either way works well and when you put drill in reverse mode it makes for a very clean cut on plaster board

I've been watching these for months now. I thought £280 was cheap, but now they are even cheaper. £239. That's almost insulting tbh. Of course I go to grab one from Amazon and the sods have sold out so I had to go Ebuyer.

I've been living under a rock, it seems but that's the first time I've seen that CPU socket, it's ludicrous :hehe:

I had to read the wiki to find out about it, 4094 contact points!

I used one of those for about a year but, have gone back to an Evoluent mouse because they seem to suit my hand just a bit better. It's a good mouse though and I'm keeping it.
