Careful. For £3000, he'll put his knob on it.

Back at the office, now able to put a link in.

    J-Hack Power Accessories.

As mentioned, I'm considering losing the evil 24 pin cable for their M2427 set - $39 not $50

Were you aware that Intel are planning to take PSUs 12V only from next year (Just for OEMs at first), moving the 3.3V & 5V to a DC-DC convertor on the motherboard?

    Had a proper splurge:

    Sony WH-1000XM3s
. Considering that the most expensive headphones I'd ever bought prior to this were £30 (Sennheiser CX300 massif represent!), they're just a weeny bit of an extravagance. Bloody lovely, though: being able to press a button to switch between complete noise cancellation and cancelling everything *except* voices is a revelation, and the gesture-based thing where you clamp your hand over the side to immediately drop the playback volume and pull in amplified external audio is genius.

High end headphones are totally what they are cracked up to be. If I go from Beyer to Beats I cry a little.

Absolutely agree. Just need to make sure you have a good source to drive them with.

There's a sale on at Screwfix. So far I've bought:
    2 x IRWIN QUICK-GRIP HANDI CLAMP 2" (50MM)
Because you can never have enough clamps.

    MAGNUSSON MINI PLIERS SET
    [IMG]
These are all sprung, feel nice and also comes with a pretty solid but awkward case.

    MAGNUSSON RATCHET WIRE STRIPPERS 8"
Didn't like the thin slippery (cheap) wire of the led strips I was modding too much, still worked, but also might be my inept postman pat hands. Not in sale but wanted one for ages.

Also: 1m Shakmods 2mm and 6mm white heatshrink and 5m of 4mm white sleeving. M3 anti-vibration standoffs, M3 dome nuts, washers, button head hex bolts AND the cheapest printer/scanner I could find on eBay, purely for the scanner. A bargain at £12.49 delivered.

Not quite as much of a bargain as 3 Corsair SP120 RGB PRO fans for £6 from our very own @littlepuppi. Very generous indeed.

Watch out after a little bit the pads start to fall off, especial if you have little boys playing with the clamps.

Yes, but they tend not to have inexplicable urge to remove the pads every time they see the clamp. I have a half dozen or so and only three pads left, the other have disappeared into unknown corners and crevices of my house.

I always thought about this desk. But then I bought a desk from IKEA and started using the Glorious XXL mouse mat.

    How is the surface?

New mini bolt cutters, sides and pliers:

The plan for 2020 is to be all Knipex, so far so good:

I probably have ~30 pairs of pliers, cutters and grips, but that's the toolbox sorted and the rest can go into kits and the welding bench and the like.

Note the comedy sized Cobra-XXL at the back
