I am now completely off of Pregabalin. I'm taking Buspirone in its place which is less narcotic and is working great. Far less side effects too.

It's my 33rd birthday, dog, baby and wife are all happy, and I'm drinking BrewDog and watching episodes of Father Ted back to back :thumb:

    Edit:

The wine rack is also looking healthy and I have beer busting out of two of the fridges :worried:

Fun medical fact: you can't actually catch Coronavirus from Corona, but you can get Lyme's disease from the lime.

Found my tax code notice for 2020/2021 and, come April, for the first time in 2 years i'll be earning my full salary (essentially works out as a ~£205 PM pay rise) - plus the usual annual 3% rise.

Also managed to transfer the last of the credit card balance onto a 29 month 0% Virgin card - so this Summer shall see the return of disposable income and some breathing space. Huzzah!

Reminds me of that time I tweeted Alienware with a pic of their computer with two Fury X in. It went viral and I had to turn off my phone lol.

WD dude she looks fantastic, and I agree, soft tubing Cheesecake. Far more organic with some time and thought put into it.

The performance uplift from 2.8ghz Broadwell E really to 1920x at 4.1ghz 1440p really is far more enormous than I could have hoped.

COD MW runs at ultra with a minimum of 90 FPS and is usually sat well over 150. Tbh I may even try it at 4k I just figured my aging Titan XP didn't have the balls.

What a stunning game it is too.

There, I said something happy. I also made a simple cover panel and cut a decal for it and for some reason my plotter cut it soooo sweet. Best small thin decal ever.

Currently eyeing up a Herman Miller pedestal I want to custom paint and mod. Oh and build a tiny itx pc into it to connect all of the problematic Aquacomputer USB gear to.

Finally healthy enough to make shavings with my new knife. Custom made for me for Christmas swap on Primitive Archer, it works a lot like a drawknife if I need it to. Was nice to just sit outside and work wood and watch my feet swell.

Picked up a parcel earlier, it was massive...

But it had this in it:

Holy balls, this thing is awesome. The photos do not do it justice at all...

I doff my hat to the designers of this set, honestly. The detail is incredible and the construction techniques are totally blowing my mind. I'm about 60%-75% of the way through so far and it took a lot of effort to stop working on it this evening - I really wanted to get the second stage done, but this is as far as I got:

I have that set and love it. I love the way the command module at the top is more-or-less the correct scale to the single lug figures and the way you can go through all the stages of the mission with the set, taking out the lunar lander and attaching it to the command module, etc. It's so fun.
