Cooling best way to clean a watercooling system?

    I was thinking of just flushing the system with some rubbing alchohol for a while....is that the way to do it?

    be very careful with alcohol as plexi-glass glues and such can get damaged via the use of alchol (so if you have a plexi-glass res. then don't use alcohol).

    so the only thing people use is coke? no one else ever cleans their system with anything else? my system seems like there might be some buildup in it from uv water dye and stuff and i wanted to flush that stuff out. also, i dont have a plexi res, but i do have a pump with epoxy on its input spout so im hoping the alchohol wont affect that either...

    Check aquatics shops for additives that do that job well.

    B-Clear is good I think.
