This is one of the best made-from-scratch cases I have seen! I applaude your woodworking skills and your design creativeness. Keep up the outstanding work.

 

I am watching this post and wondering if I will be able to bring my dreams and desires to such a level of craftsman ship or if they will be nothing but a pipe dream... I know that I am going to be using older eqip... and that I don't have the budget for supporting my delusions of grandure, but a dream is that whit guides our lifes ambitions...... so who knows... Me thinks perhaps I may pull the gem out of the refuse.....

with lot of ideas, lot of patience, time, and not too much money, your dreams can become reality, for example this case doesn't cost myself lot of money, I used materials of recovery for all the design of the case I bought only the fans , ccfl and things necessary for painting; well on I board not badly of tools already...

well this is not at this time a reality, it will change in when I reach the final result (hope I m not going to make a scrappy painting )

omg this case must be one of the best ive seen!
hand crafted cases usually are not to this standard but i applaude you! this is truly an amazing case, it makes me want to build a wooden case!
i hope the painting turns out ok! cant wait to see it finished!

yes it si right that is lexan parts but the two littles are made with plexiglass

Hi guys today I have paint the case with primary color to prepare the finish one , here are pics :











this paint shows all the imperfections of wood parts, it is necessary to sand and sand and sand and so on until I reach the result I would give to it






well i think there is a lot of work to give to it before painting final black

Excellent work so far. It looks like you have a lot of work still to, but with the attention to detail you have displayed so far in preparing the surfaces I'm sure it's going to look awsome once you've finished.

Wouw! I have to say that this is some impressive work you've made there mate. Only thing that i think should be changed is the color of the light. But thats a little too late now, and it is YOUR mod, so therefore you choose. Still very nice work there!

Well, for my first post what a better place than with another person who don't have perfect english skills!

Seriously, that case is looking SWEET!!

But don't rush, take your time so the final result will be perfect!

matt would be nice imho ... everybody uses glossy paint, so be original and use matt one

 

Don't rush, take your time sanding and perfectionizing the case. So far it looks awesome.

 

Really love your case, it is very very very nice. One of the 'great' ones in the last couple months I must say.

this is one of those mods that embodies greatness, and it'll be sweet to see when done. By the way, did you ever find a way to light that little top corner, and if not, why not embed some 5000 mcd, super bright LEDs to illuminate it? They won't eat up much more room than wiring if drilled right.
