I grabbed an RID1801M for a similar price from them, going to make building things much easier, an turns out its more than pokey enough for removing wheel bolts, keep eyeing up other tools (table saw) but I don't have the space currently to even consider one, that an its so expensive.

A pair of front control arms for a BMW 7-series, which was unwelcome.

On the other hand, they were noted to be an issue when it was in for some recall work where the entire exhaust system, from the headers back was replaced, which didn't cost me anything. So silver linings and stuff.

On the other-other hand, my wife appears to have fallen for the Mini she's had on loan whilst the work is being done. Which wasn't a pool car, just pulled from the showroom since they weren't expecting to need the loaner, so is handily available for purchase.

That's how it starts... We're on our 4th now, 2 x hatchbacks and 2 x Countrymen. We made the "mistake" of having a Cooper S as the first one, can't be dropping down to a Cooper after that... On the plus side, the staff at Nottingham Sytner Mini are great, especially the service team. Not the cheapest by a long way, but they've always looked after us really well.

£450 all in. For absolutely no other reason than I was bored, fancy a change from the Titan XP and wanted something different.

I'm quite happy with that. It won't be as fast as my 2070 Super EXOC but that can't be water cooled and cost me the same. Plus this Asus Dual uses a 2080 PCB, with much better components (2080 stuff basically, all digital) and thus you can actually find a block for it. Don't ask me how I worked all that out it's taken me 3 hours :S

These ear dildos blow my Sony WH-1000XM3s out of the water, the technology just works and works really well. Well impressed tbh

The pay per month purchase model is interesting. Seems they can remotely deactivate your headphones if you stop paying for them.

After using my Sony bluetooth headphones a bit the last couple of weeks (sony wf1000x - amazing sound but lag gy as hell making them useless for watching things) I decided against getting a pair of Anker Soundcore Life P2 which have Bluetooth 5.0 and aptX to stop the lag. Having to carry the weight of the batteries just makes them come loose too easily. So I bought a little DAC adapter:

Since my headphones were a Abit battered and cables fraying, I thought I'd get a cheap pair to tide me over (having spent a bit too much on Mrs Mrs for her birthday today). A quick browse and I came across the Betron YSM1000. They looked funky and reviewed well, the reviews said they're quite base heavy and yep they sure are. I have only had a quick blast on them, will have to compare them against the Sony's, but really they're for watching pootube vids while on transportation, so it's not too important. But from the quick listen I've had they're not bad. If I can find an equaliser app I can tune out some of the base, as the trance fix that I'm on at the minute does need a good whack of top end.
