Affinity Publisher for Mac and Photo for IPad (already have it for desktop)

Bargainous at the moment for anyone in the market, all Affinity products on all platforms are half price.

Contemplating Designer to complete the trio, since it would only be another £34 for both platforms, but never really got the hang of vector art (and by that I mean trying to dabble with Illustrator 20 years ago)

Yeah I guess so. You could pick him up and put him somewhere else, but he would just bengal miaow really loudly and go straight back. We couldn't let him sleep with us because he would get on the bed, stick his wet nose in your ear and miaow so loudly it would scare us. That cat never left my side. Even when he got older he would either be with me or waiting when I came out.

Same place, only four years later when he had stopped growing. He would jump through the window and be waiting for me when I got up.

I've never had such a loyal devoted cat. Usually they are fickle little buggers. I remember my mother in law forcing me to let him outside after he ripped down the curtains (he tried climbing them but his claws got stuck). She said "It's for the best". She soon changed her mind when he sat outside talking at the window all night lmao. God I love my vocal bengals, they are ace. I've never loved any pet like I loved him. It was like having this big ass dangerous cat, who was a big sop (yet a killer, you should have seen what he used to do outside lmao) but acted like a dog. Just amazing.

Ok, my panels arrived on the island on Thursday morning, but they were immediately held pending payment of customs charges. Fair enough, I expected that.

I didn't expect Parcelfarce to send me a letter, via snail mail, instructing me to visit their website and pay the charge to schedule the delivery - my email address is right ****ing there!!!!! The letter arrived yesterday, so I couldn't schedule a delivery before Tuesday. I mean, we are on the island so it might still end up on a van for the monday afternoon run. Just, seriously. wtaf. The depot is about 1km from my house, too.

When I ordered something from Australia, DHL emailed me within a day of my order to inform me of the import costs and I could pay it immediately.

    Parcelforce - so much fail.

Parcelfarce are soo behind the times with that stuff.

I was on holiday and had an import charge delivery going to my work address - So they sent that letter to my work. On the tracking it told me that I had duties to pay, and that I had instructions in the letter.

I called and apparently I could only pay using information in said letter.

I don't know if that's still the same, but yeah. Parcelfarce are shocking. The shame of that was the delivery guy on the route was super nice and always seemed to take good care of the parcels in his van.

Same. When it was first announced, I was adamant I'm not going to pay for yet another streaming service, and have most of the back catalogue of Disney, Pixar and Marvel anyway. Now I'm thinking more selection can't hurt, and National Geographic particularly.

Cancelled Netflix recently to try and cut down and sav a few pennies, still got prime, but now tempted to cut that as well and get Disney+ for a year as I know there's a bunch of stuff on there I want to watch!

We'll be ditching Netflix soon until there's a bunch of stuff we want to binge watch, then we'll sign up again. Got Disney+ as well so interested to see what that's like tomorrow.

Out of Netflix, Prime, AppleTV+ and YouTube premium, I think Netflix is probably the last I'd cancel (That said I'd never cancel Prime, but that's for delivery more than video)

Still cumulatively cheaper than Sky and a TV license ever was.

I doubt I'll renew Apple TV+ once the free year runs out, unless there's a significant uptick in content that I feel I can't miss by then.

YT Premium will get cancelled if at any point they decide to do something about the number of Indian subscribers that appear to be based in parts of the world that aren't India.

Prime was kept because of the other benefits as you mentioned :)
TV license has been cancelled as well, would rather have that than Netflix though.

We have got Prime, Netflix, NowTV and now Disney+ as well. All of that is still (even adding broadband costs) cheaper than a single Sky and BT broadband combo

A "proper" office chair, because mine sucks and I've had a really bad back the last couple of days.

Still not ready to drop a fat wodge of cash on a Herman Miller or Humanscale chair yet . This looks pretty much identical to the chairs I used to use in a previous job, and they were fine from what I remember. Got all the right support and adjustments at least...

The freedom only £30 more not worth it? (as someone who is completely lost at the moment whilst trying to have a bit of a look at chairs)

Finally got around to replacing the fan on my Zotac 1080 mini

This larger one still worked but had the odd little rattle.

    Replaced and working like new.

Now, onto the next little job on the list... Well, that'd be writing a list to start with.

I don't know TBH... The one I ordered has a larger backrest than the Humanscale Freedom, and I do tend to use my chair a lot - not just for gaming or working from home, but also watching TV series, films, etc. I like to be able to slouch so I specifically want something with a tall back rest.
