make it white, if your case is a dark color but if its a light color make it blue becuase blue is the BEST IMO
Well, red ones go faster, you know. No really, how many colors are you planning to use on your case? One is dull, two is about right , 3+ are to many, IMHO. If you stick to two, you can get some nice, dynamic contrasts on yer rig. The second color can come from your lights or your hardware, so what do you have, what are your plans? Try googling (Altavistaing??Yahooing?? : ) for basic color theory or the color wheel to learn more about how to pick colors. Just remember to keep it simple, too many colors sux.
My preference would be two tone black and red, so that depending on how you look at it, it will be black one second or red the next. I always find black and red to go together pretty good.

I'd agree on the gun metal grey suggestion. (I'd also advise against two-tone paint cos it doesn't really work on flat surfaces very well.)
yellow can look really nice if its done well. don't have all one colour. Have different colour lights etc. my case My case is gun metal grey my lights will be (in the end) blue and orange
out of those colors? Red My next case, however, will be battleship grey, and I will stencil giant numbers on the side of it (ala battleships)
