only works on cars with the SMC tranny, an option that is like 7 or 8 grand...in addition to the 40-50 you already pay for the car..buy a skyline GTR

it only works with the SMG (sequential manual gearbox) which is a £3k option

and it tells you how to do it in the manual but also states that "this feature puts extra strain on your cars engine and may greatly reduce it's lifespan"

certainly is fun though

no, I'm a man and drive a real car (meaning I have a 6sp manual and not some crappy thing that shifts for me)

the only reason i think it was implemented it because the SMG owners need to be able to have a bit of fun every so often

i have a friend that hd an SMG model and it was a bit dull for the most part, and he coult properly drive it at all, not like it is difficult or anything

the ECU logs how many times its done for warranty purposes...but hey we all are modders we need to fix that

 

I think you'll find that tinkering with the ECU will also void your warranty.

Actualy on some of the ECU remappers you dont have to replace the original. They just bypass the original
