Don't know about that brand, I've used Safety 1st magnetic cupboard locks and they work very well. Best feature is the lock can be disengaged when no longer need, no need to uninstall. I really wish I'd moved entertainment equipment into a lockable cupboard. Little fingers did a number on a couple pieces of equipment.

 

That hifi rack looks quite 'closed' - mind the heat coming from the amp!

 

My old key holder literally dismantled itself on me as I tried opening my front door yesterday nearly lost all the keys down the back of the front door step. New solution

pretty certain my random reboots are due to a dying psu. its on the desk next to me but holy **** its too hot to be dicking about inside a pc right now.

Mostly speed squares, buck converters, an OEM re-keying ignition barrel kit for a Mk1 Focus so I can put a fresh ignition cylinder in it, more wood. Because.. Wood. Also so I can get cracking on the toolbox end of the work bench.

I've got to say, the constant bike building is making me feel like I should build my own bike when the time comes. But I really don't think that's a slippery slope that I should step foot on.

For over-water work would it not be feasible to attach a float that was just enough to make it buoyant? Obviously it would represent a payload but could still be worth it (I haven't done the maths). Perhaps even an auto inflating CO2 float could be an option?

EDIT: Back-of-the-envelope calculation: For a 3kg drone an approx 15cm cube of foam (or equivalent shape) weighing about 150g should suffice.

 

Is there much salvageable from a drone that's been dunked in the water while, presumably, powered on?

I'd have though the shell and maybe some of the non electronic parts, but the rest sounds like it might well be toast having had a dip.
