You know it WILL break, right? MK is where you'll spend a lot of time soon.

The MK work is mostly done. The servers are in and working. I just need to go back and install some plastic shrouds. This is for migrating the site from the current CMS onto a new one. The new one lets us do some cool new things, is massively quicker and easier to develop for going forward.

An hour of wrestling with 8mm mild steel wrapped around a steering column, and I'm finally free of the lock-replacement inhibition system.

The McWill USB kit for the Gameboy Colour doesn't have charging and finished LED's.

But the TP4056 controller chip does.

So now my Gameboy Colour has power, charge, and completed LED's.

It is today twenty years since, after months of talking online then on the phone, that the woman who is now my wife and I, first met face to face. We lived 120 miles apart then.

Got all the windows open because of the heat and we are getting quite a few butterflys in the house. It breaks up the workday quite nicely to go on a butterfly hunt with the kids around the front room.

VW have finally agreed to collect my old car next Friday (July 3rd).
    I will be returning to a single-person, single-car household.

Been working my ass into the ground. I started a full nut and bolt restoration of an old bike last year. I tinkered a bit over winter, but painting etc is off limits.

Restored the cranks for it yesterday. So stoked with the finish. Mind you, that's blood in that !

Was thinking I would have to break out the caustic soda and de anodise the seat clamp. It was really grubby and had a half worn logo. In the end some T cut metallic saved the day. Polished it up, logo came off, win.

After my nexus 7 started dying I pulled the trigger on Tab s6 a few weeks back and so far its been v impressive as a tablet/media machine. Only just started experimenting as to if I can use it as a digital sketch pad and holy **** I'm in love. Ok its no where near as advanced as my Cintiq but for the sheer ease of just being able to plonk down anywhere and doodle digitally is incredible, the damn thing even tosses around 100mb+ PSD's without breaking a sweat.

its ****ing brilliant. Cant be more happy.

This article about 1v1 FPS players over the last two decades. I've been following (and on and off part of) the community of AFPS and this is just an immensely interesting and mind-blowingly comprehensive piece of work.

Passport renewal came back, only took about two weeks (I applied as soon as the website gave the slightest hint normal applications were also getting processed - before any mass panic onslaught).

Not that I can go anywhere with it yet.

    But no, it's not burgundy.

    But it's not blue.

It's black. Which is awesome, I was dreading being reminded of the shitefest everytime I looked at a blue passport

That feeling when you go from oh-look-theres-a-new-model upgradeitis to actually-that's-not-really-an-upgrade-from-what-ive-got-but-it's-a-grand-more-expensive smugness in 30 seconds flat.

I think you're right... which is comforting, because I thought the last one was the "last I would ever buy", and until now I wasn't entirely sure whether that was actually the case, or I just something I needed to believe.

Just been introduced to Lazy Nezumi Pro for Photoshop and hot damn its awesome, Photoshop has always suffered with pen control in comparison to other art programs such as Sai and its irked me immeasurably. Nezumi hooks into PS and essentially takes over pen and pressure control and does some pretty mental **** with constraints allowing for a ruler system i never even thought possible.
