Hi Guys! After many years of skipping, I am now building a custom pc again. The structure of the pc frame is made of aluminum profile, the idea will be a double-sided open pc. The hardware was provided by asus hungary, support for the construction of liquid cooling is in progress. The whole design will be based on the AMD Ryzen cpu and ROG motifs. The color scheme will consist of black and orange as a result. I hope the sponsorship talks will be fruitful and I can apply with a resume soon. The cover of the pc case will be solved with plexiglass, I make these elements with a laser cutter, and I use a 3D printer to make the various consoles.
Well, right now I’m there that the water-cooled hardware company doesn’t really want to respond to my emails. Because of this, I wonder what direction I should take the matter further. I have hardware from different manufacturers from previously built mods, but I thought a company’s products would look better on the finished build. Anyway, the construction is going on, of course I will be ready much earlier than I will describe it here. I can say I am at a 90% readiness level. After all, I didn’t come to grieve, no one here is curious. Hopefully for the work presented in the coming days and weeks all the more so. After assembling the frame structure, I started to design and build the design elements. In my previous post, I have already presented my laser cutting option in a short video, so much of the work will be done with my help of this machine. In keeping with the name of the mod, I will try to implement the elements on the basis of a staggered arrangement, which in its appearance will try to revive traces of Far Eastern architectural culture. Let's start with the basics. The spacer rings were made with 3D printing between the lower 3-layer plexiglass sheets.
Creating cable management. Feed-through bracket for cpu 8-pin and atx 24-pin connections in a plexiglass sandwich arrangement.
Back in the days, I have been a great fan of your Poseidon Mod, the double sided open rig was a great idea, and your way to design parts with overlapped acrylic layers of different colors... this one has even more awesome details like the cable combs attachements and it takes the path of becoming another wonderful mod
I really like the look of the clear sandwiched between the orange, and the super neat braided cabling
Thanks mate! Yes the poseidon mod was also successful, I hope I can bring that level to that as well.
The fan grilles were i made for the radiator with a solution similar to the sandwich plexiglass sheets made in the lower part of the engine room.
First I made the bottom of the pc case this way and then I thought the surface of the radiator should be in sync with the other elements.
Sponsorship support has arrived, plus a birthday present! Now all obstacles have been removed before the project is completed. Thank you for my support of EKWB.
I made a painting mask it goes to the back of the machine and then painted black. The radiator will be mounted on this page for which I made brackets with a 3D printer.
I made the console that hides the RGB lighting, which is located on the bottom of the machine on 2 sides, and the plexiglass on the front side was made.
