Hello everyone Here is my worklog to my last Custom Case. It gets full built out of Aluminium. Sidepanels get made of black toned 3mm acrylic. Magnetic Top, Front and Sidepanels. It has two 240mm Radiators. It is not very very very small but compact. 403x305x135mm. Also i designed a small custom DDC reservoir. GPU is on the backside and supported up to 328mm. Parts a now in the making ! Loving your Facebook posts, but nothing better than following a build log Looking great so far, can't wait to see real metal come to life. There's a passing similarity to something I'm working on too, so when I start Asteria Reprise in the new year, honestly I didn't copy you Is that a 10mm radius in the main body corners? How do you intend to make those bends?
Blimey, how are you achieving that then? Renders do hide seams between pieces so I can't work out where you're joining sections together. If you're milling corners then the renders come across as a huge unibody frame milled from 15cm thick stock
Lovely. The only problem would be having the pump up so high. With that and the limited reservoir, it will be hell to bleed.
Bended? Bent Can i ask what on earth will this case/chassis cost mill? is it the hundreds or thousands?
i turn the chassis sideways. should work better i just bleed it one time i really think of making another reservoir with two DC LT Pumps
i friend of me is milling it for me. he likes it alot and learning more milling technics and cam mangement with my case and other parts he is milling for me
The billet required for this Your talking hundreds of dollars in raw material alone. I think impossible to machine due to depth of cuts and vibrations/harmonics but REALLY want to see this happen! Good luck my man!
Pretty. I thought for a second you found a source for 1/4" mirror plex. @MaximumBubbleMods - I suspect he's going to round over some 1" x 3/4" bar and add some insets for panel mating.
Lovely pump top. You should opt for stainless steel screws. You can sand the heads flat and polish them.
Cool design, and great renderings. Did you flame polish that res after CNC'ing? You've selected the Case Mod category rather than the Scratch build one btw.
