Not to generate a reputation for supporting a parliamentarian but social distancing likely means those seats weren't available for sale anyway.

Fake news, those don't look like first class seats.

Nah, he just loves his work/family more than we do ours, so it's okay for him to widdle on the rules and not be punished.

You have to wear facemasks on trains unless exempt.

It was just a lame joke about stupid Tory excuses anyway, so don't worry about it.

What am I missing here? You get tested today, show up negative, go about your business with increased bravado and pick the dirty germ up tomorrow, but have no care because I was negative yesterday so I'm alright Jack, then pass it on anyway.

Testing negative surely only works if something then happens afterwards ie. all negatives get corralled in safe zones after a two-week quarantine to be sure, for want of a better solution. Positives go to non-safe zones to see who makes it out (with the added bonus of bedding down with the security staff, if you happen to be in Melbourne. Which is another mystery - given the role of guarding those supposedly infected with a life-threatening disease, why ON EARTH would you put those inmates on your bunk-up list?).

    Time to bring it back:

Imagine sacrificing years of economy and security with lockdown, and within weeks making that sacrifice a waste of time anyway.

BBC had a report going on when I turned on the tv this morning, had a guy discussing how government funds had been spent on PPE at companies who had recently formed or no track record of providing PPE WRT to covid. First instinct was, jesus they've actually started making noise about it. However it then became apparent that, whilst the guy giving a report had 'an accent', I noticed that the amounts being discussed were in dollars.
Then the next person had a similar accent. Also mentioned going after the government for the levels of corruption based around covid PPE and who were given the contracts. Not entirely sure what country they were talking about, I believe they said Kenya (subtitles came up Tanya so....).

    Couldn't help but laugh.
