i think you should make a fan-hole in the back AND in the top..
its better with many fans running at low voltage than few that runs on high voltage....

as for the fan size: the bigger, the better. (better noise/airflow ratio)

that sounds like a good plan...

a nice big 130mm fan up top will help cooling SOO much

Ok ive got another question now, I have a generic 420 Watt PSU, with it be enough to run my system + 4cold cathodes and 5 fans? And 3 HDD's? I just got to thinking about this, because i wanna run all UV Fans, w/2 blue cathodes then flip the switch on for 2 more UV Cathodes. I think this would look really tight thanks for the help thus far-edit- i usually only have 2 hdd's working also.

If you check the electrical specs on your hardware, they should have ratings on them so that you can work out roughly how many watts you're using??

I know you can work this out and then allow for a percentage extra as a safety margin. and maybe one of the electical gurus out there can give ya more detailed advice about how much that safety margin should be??

    Good luck

a 420wt psu is more than enough to run prettey much anything.
it's when you start adding in crazy amounts of Hard drives n such that you need to consider some crazy wattage psu.
    Your psu is fine.

I run two optical drives, a gigabyte mobo, two 12" cold cathodes, 4 40mm LED fan's, 1 50mm cpu fan, 1 20mm video card fan, 2 hard drives, and a ton of LED's off of a generic 300watt psu, not a problem yet. My athlon XP 2100+ runs at 43c/109f, is that normal?

Well I run a similar rig, but with XP2600 at 46-50c, so your setup sounds pretty good to me!
