I have a RAT6 that doesn't want to move the cursor anymore. Wheels etc seem to work but the cursor doesn't move. Different mice work fine on the PC and the RAT6 doesn't work properly on any other PC so seems the problem is with the mouse. I've downloaded the latest drivers and tried giving the sensor a clean but no luck - is it FUBAR?

Shame as I only got it out of the box a month ago! It had been sat sealed for a few years before I got the point where I didn;t think the kids would just abuse it like my RAT5 - which is still going strong! Just unlucky I guess!

Yep, its actually more common for things to die at the beginning or end of their lives, the bathtub curve.

The moment of expiry is always the end. Death at the beginning, just cuts out the bit in between. Cutting out the middleman, so to speak.

    A Rat pup?

I wonder if (and I know this is a long shot) the sensor could be replaced? (Zombie Rat!)
