    Thanks guys!
Exactly in these days it's one year from the start of the mod!
It's incredible, the time is running fast, working a lot in the weekend and in the evening during the week after my main work....it was and it's very hard!

BUT now i'm near the end, i keep pushing, so let's update!

This time it's the turn of my glorious GTX 1080 G1 gaming, to be converted to liquid cooling!

    Bykski specific waterblock

With little mod i reach to keep the original backplate
    20201010_115243.jpg
But when i tried to install the card, the waterblock hit my SATA ports:duh:
So i had to dremel the plexi and the LED bar
    :dremel:

    Now fit perfectly!

@Defyant Mods in some project yes, when you don't have any time pressure it's very relaxing and satisfying modding your project!

Now i'm preparing the fitting, and installing in position just to see how they look

Installed the pump and the bottom cover
    Assembly (20).jpg

I've already a plan for the tubing layout, but anytime when i start to make the shapes, coming out some surprise....

I've also decided to install these EK insert, they help to avoid the deformation of this PETG tubes, in case the liquid reach high temperatures.

Other tubes are taking form....now i'll have a lot of hours of work and test!

After a lot of hours of work i reach to finish the loop! Now i keep it in test with my homemade pressure tester! I made it with a MTB air fork pump, a bykski anti-slip heavy load fitting, and Schrader bicycle valve!

    Assembly (26).jpg Assembly (27).jpg
To check if there are leaks, i've made a solution with soap and water, to make some foam and apply it on the fittings with a small brush

I think a valve and that pressure dial would have been enough.

Wait wait, don't worry, there isn't liquid, but very dense foam, and stay in place where you put it, without go away. It's also easy to clean with soft paper!

But you need also a pump to charge the loop with air!

So guys, I've officially finished the mod!

I've worked hard in these days to get all details ready for the final assembly, there was some unexpected events, like always, but all resolved quickly! Also the pressure test of the loop was passed successfully!
Now it's the time for the pleasure of your and my eyes, finally my dream come truth, the project shapes from my mind imagination are now real in front of me, and i have to admit that i'm a little surprised by the result, above my expectations! I'm very happy and satisfied of the result!

 Certainly the greatest Alienware case mod ever, light effects are fantastic, but the whole thread was a real pleasant trip into genuine case moding...:dremel::wallbash:, the kind I love, almost sad that it ends, but  epic build
