I recently picked up an Audient Sono

I couldny justify a new amp. If im honest I have no need. I picked this up a while back when the prices literally halved I just havent had a chance to properly use it till the last couple of weeks. I was looking for an audio interface anyway and this is guitar specific (even has a valve). Its brilliant. Plays well with Cubase, allows me to use my pedals, and has reignited my interest in guitar playing after an almost 15 year lay off.

Also picked up a copy of Brickmania's Overlord Bricks

Had so much spare lego knocking around from the kids' sets it was a shame to let it go to waste. X Craft Submarine and the Tiger are done and look superb. Ive always wanted build a Lego tank and sub anyway so the chance was too good to miss.

Lego and music have subsequently been proper lockdown therapy.

Pete, only thing with the Tiger in the Overlord Manual is that it s been 'simplified' with vey little internal details. I had to go to the various Brickmania youtube videos and pics to mod it. Otherwise there is no engine or space for crew.

That required a fair bit of trial and error with the main chassis. Worth the effort though.

All the feelies are there, bar the original balloon which the seller says disintegrated into dust.

What's the turntable, has a look of Audio Technica about it? And, TIL, Fatboy Slim is a year older than me and I'm 56.

Brilliant scales mate well worth the money, App works flawlessly connects to Apple health etc, the measurements seem pretty spot on as home scales go. Really impressed and cheap too!

Missed out on the run of pre-orders not for the want of trying! I knew stock was rumoured to appear today for fresh orders. Then last night flicking through the net on my mobile by chance I clicked on a targeted advert that lead me to an order page for the XBOX Series X on the Microsoft Store with a release time of 00:00 on the 10th. This was odd since that page had been replaced with a referral link to other retailers for the past few weeks.

Long story short, spun up my desktop computer and got my Series X order in just before midnight yesterday. Well chuffed! Estimated delivery window for Thursday this week... although I remain sceptical about that date at least It's ordered!
