Incredible design work. Always cool seeing people pushing their CNC routers, makes me wish I did more creative stuff when I had mine. Looking forward to seeing how you progress with the project.
Finally got my new GPUs. Here's a blurry picture of my (3) 8pin to (2) 12pin adapter. I stuck with 4mm sleeving to match the rest of the system so that left ugly ends I covered up with heat shrink.
With the new GPUs I finally measured and did a final design for all the cable management. All of it is milled 3mm aluminum. Much of it is brazed together but I had lots of trouble with brazing one part weakened or broke the bond on other parts because of to much heat transfer. But in time I built up the sections.
I had to tread some of my wires before final assembly. I used some zip times to keep them bundled. The ugly burnt ends will be in the basement and unseen in the end product.
