    I was going to make one of these when I realized the cheap TEC plate I had was almost exactly CPU sized and was suitable for the TDP too.

    Ah, we're going back to Peltiers are we? Everything old is new again!
    Although I will admit that a fully warrantee'd all-in-one unit will be a lot easier to fit than the old DIY solutions, although you'll still have all the same drawbacks (more power to run the pelt, which means more heat to remove from your system overall, possible condensation problems, expense)
    So how long until EK or CM release their own phase-change coolers?
