It's a big boy as well! Cleared a little space, looking forward to seeing it take pride of place in my current generation AV setup!

Still waiting for confirmation on despatch. Have a feeling it might be weeks instead of days away. Which is a pity as my console gaming has gone on hold until I get the Series X. Although I do still need to finish off Ori and the Blind Forest. Final Swan song for the XBOX ONE X I suppose!

i just hope both sony and ms have done a better job cooling over long term this time round. i have found ps4/pro and xbone/scorpio to get louder an louder as time goes by. no amount of cleaning the dust out fixes it for either

Once you yourself recognise you've got a problem, it's too late.

:) I’m hoping I’ll settle on one of them, or possibly two. The Pandas feel really nice to type on stock, but are a bit noisy, I’ll see what they’re like once lubed though. The Zilents have a nice tactile bump and are pretty quiet. But I’ve heard good things about the Alpacas and fancy trying a linear switch again

Looked at the posh brands. About £5 per meter. Looked at RF, £1.75 a meter.

I'm a fan of the Glorious stuff, have the Model O and GMMK here, fiancée's using the Model O-. Also, anything with a panda in the name or on the packaging is awesome.

How do you find the GMMK? I was tempted to pick up the compact, but then decided to build my own 60%

I've got Van Damme now. IIRC it was a fiver a meter. Problem is one side is too short. It wasn't made up to be where it will be now.

Yeah, quite familiar with expensive wires. Rogers used to do a 99% silver cable. IIRC it was about £500 a meter. Was part of the Crystal Link series that we never got to release because the new Japanese owners closed us down after 3 months of ownership.

I love it. The only issue I can see down the road is the use of a micro USB port instead of a USB-C one.

I do however think the Ducky One 2 Mini I bought for my fiancée might be slightly better. Both have been good build quality, assembly was a breeze on both, they've been faultless in daily use. But the Ducky feels that tiny bit sturdier, heftier, ... better, for lack of a better word. Maybe this grass is greener on the other side speaking, but it's more than just the USB-C port on her keyboard that makes me think it might be just a fraction better.

I'm tempted to build my own, but prices are sharing me away, to be honest.

I think, looking at Glorious’ website, they’ve refreshed the GMMK to use a USB-C port now. But if you pick one up from a reseller I guess it’s pot luck as to which you’ll get.

Ducky boards are well made, I’ve got a Shine 3 TKL from years ago that is just solid. I was very tempted by the Mecha mini because of the aluminium case, but finding one in stock somewhere is a nightmare.

Building one can get expensive, especially if you keep needing to pick up parts from different places because not everyone has everything in stock. But I figured it would give me a bit of a project and I’ve gone hot-swap so I can test out different switches fairly easily. Once I settle down on what I like I might go for a higher-end build, but I don’t think that will be for a while.

Decided to replace my 2tb portable drive with an SSD, but I already had a spare 2TB SSD so I just ordered a rugged case.

A fine 'ruffty tuffty' looking case to protect all those delicate moving parts in your SSD.
What did the 1TBs come in at?
