Oh fiiiine, I'll install Epic Games Manager. They really want to make it a thing, huh. I'll pass on Andromeda, though. I don't want it even if it is free.
Just don't run it unless you're playing a game, it seems to eat 10% of my CPU (4690k) at all times when it's running.
The first free game on Epic is Cities Skylines so the list looks wrong. Could you link to it, I see it as 75% off?
Yeah it be weird like that... All the other launchers eat RAM and barely touch the CPU, but Epic is like give me CPU and barely touches the RAM instead. In the Ubisoft launcher click on Ubisofts Happy Holidays at the top.
well looks like the list might be wrong but still , free games are never a bad thing, I see there servers are struggling to keep up, incredibly slow also
I'll still accept free games I guess. What an imposition, though, not getting the free games we were expecting! First world problems.
Today's Freebie - Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/product/oddworld-new-n-tasty/home
They are offering The Long Dark for free - that's a decent game. Already got it on Steam - but it's worth picking up if you haven't already.
Cities Skylines, Oddworld and The Long Dark so far. Still quite impressive. I bought Skylines for £30 way back when. You also get a £10 coupon, so really worth getting Epic even if just for Christmas
Alien Isolation for free for next 24 hours. https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/product/alien-isolation/home I hear there is an excellent VR mod for this game.
