    I do watch the odd video of his, but no, the hole I fell down was much more pointless. Trucks getting through deep mud and crossing rivers, vehicles similar to the Sherp, heavy plant machinery etc.

    I honestly don't know if this will be awesome, but it's based on Terry Pratchett's City Watch from the Discworld books so I'll definitely give it a good dose of looking at.

    I LOVE the Discworld books, but i never watched the Sky productions primarily because i didn't like the way they portrayed some of the characters (based on viewing the trailers), and now this? seriously? Is it necessary to f*ck with established stories with VERY precise descriptions of characters and locales that much to put it on the TV? Either dramatise the story and characters accurately, or come up with your own IP.

    Looks like it will be filed under either 'piss poor book adaption' under the sub-sections of 'rubbish' or 'mediocre to ok if you ignore the source material' alongside Altered Carbon....

    "Inspired by," not "based on." As others have said, it's nowt to do with them as know - and while it could be an enjoyable thing in its own right, anyone going into it expecting Discworld is going to be very disappointed.

    Which arsehole suggested Ostacruiser? I spent too long yesterday watching the 11 or so episodes (each 30mins to 1hr long) on his shop build. Thank you. :rock:
