The good lady had a discussion with a feck off pothole on the way back from work.

The car is making, erm, a couple of noises it didn't use to so it's booked in for tomorrow.

No doubt an unwanted bill incoming...

Check who owns the road an go grab some photos if possible of the pothole, I claimed back a lower arm, wheel, shock, spring, droplink, front wing sideskirt, wheel an tyre for one I hit a few years ago.

OK I did cause a traffic incident as the car physically stopped in said pothole but they Borough Council paid up.

    Cheers for that.

Yeah, i've told her to take some pics if she can. Sounds like someone else from her work hit it too and is contacting the council.

Be quick, before they send some guys to fill it in with a bucket of asphalt that'll only last 3-6 months!

Hm, they say they come in threes.

According to my agent, apparently the neighbours to my tenant called the police out due to noise/shouting at midnght.

I'm now wondering who the woman is who carried on causing the disturbance until 3/4am after my tenant agreed to stay elsewhere for the night.... Doesn't sound like my walls will be in one piece. Covid bubble no doubt.

God knows what number 3 will be. Car, house and.... ?

    LOL.

When mum had her fall (mostly because of covid) my life was turned upside down. No more place to go when I can't cope, no more mum getting my essentials (sugar, bog roll, wet wipes, coffee) and me paying her. And of course being at my flat alone 100% of the time. It's been sheer hell. I had a breakdown a while ago ( a bad one) because I could not get a shopping order for delivery from anywhere. It just broke me. So I reached out for help. I was sent a bloke from the council who came once, and asked me all about how much money I get. I love that /rolleyes.

That was like 9 weeks ago. Not heard a dicky bird since. They phoned today to do the financial assessment. Now I was told that the care, once a week, should cost no more than I pay now. £36.

Have a guess at how much they wanted. No, seriously, go on.

    £146 A WEEK

I pretty much laughed her off the phone. She just sent the documents through, and it says that basically I get X, pay out Y. My allotted money per week is Z, and my disposable income is £146 a week. Not including the taxis or anything else.

So basically for me to get help twice a week for two hours they want me to give them absolutely every single last penny of my supposed disposable income.

What would that leave me? well, the lady at my trust said they allow £20 a week for food. LOL. Try having IBS. You can quadruple that.

Seriously, do they really think you will sacrifice every single last spare penny you may have (trust me it's not £146. Cabs cost me over £100 a month !) just to get someone to take you shopping?

    Jokers.

They've put wacky DB connection details in the code instead of using the ones in the setting file. The PHP "app" is also in the media file instead of the "app" folder. great laugh

2 and a half months for a refund for a faulty AIO cooler, something to be said for shopping for the best price.

Can't get Encarta '95 to run in wine. Installs, but crashes. Guess I'll have to use a Windows 95 VM instead. Boo-urns.
