To be honest, I'm just starting out. As you say, love Batman, but only the ones where he's a rage filled monster - Ben Affleck's depiction in Batman vs Superman is my idea of THE BATMAN. This sets the tone of what appeals to me - might look into equivalent stuff for the other heroes. Clean cut is boring!

I also collect The Walking Dead and The Boys, simply because I was impressed by the live action series and decided to investigate further.

Might have to look into Judge Dredd...

Whilst trying to decide between a couple of TVs in the richer sounds clearance section 2/3 went out of stock so committed.
A Philips 65PUS6754, bigger than planned but liked the idea of the ambilight and have a friend who's got one and highly recommended it and at that price I felt it was worth it.

Very nice, some friends of mine have an ambilight Phillips and it's very good now. Not like the old days when they put it on CRTs and the lighting would lag behind the picture my 0.75s or so.

I can definitely recommend Outcast, the next thing by Kirkman (The Walking Dead). Also, I'm a sucker for anything Warren Ellis and he's definitely not clean cut.

And then you have the obvious Deadpool comics, if you want more of that anti-hero stuff. Shoot a PM or hit me up on discord if you want further ideas.

Excited for it, can't really imagine what it'll be like.

Also next purchase was a couple of GME shares, happy to put my money towards making some fat cats unhappy.

I bought the ASUS TUF Gaming Monitor as recommended by MrDomRocks - that uplift from 1080p is quite astounding. I was fine with me old monitor but that just goes to show how bloody blind I must have been - not managed to work out how to turn on HDR yet but I'm sure there's an option somewhere!

Was waiting for my account to be verified, gave up and asked a friend to just buy some opening for me, then of course 10mins afterwards when the price dropped I got verified haha.

In the grand scheme of things shouldn't make much difference either way, still annoying though :D

Couple of friends got in at under 100 but sold the other day, have since bought back in now they have more faith in the idiots all actually holding.

    Fifteen CD's to get.. Two.

Because they were cheaper as a lot than individually.

    Work that one out.

    The ones I wanted;

Veil of Maya - False Idol
    Disturbed - Immortalized

    The ones I got too;

    Lordi - Babez For Breakfast
    Lordi - The Monsterican Dream
    Lordi - Get Heavy
    Lordi - Deadache
    Lordi - Monstereophonic
Blind Guardian - The Sacred Worlds and Songs Divine Tour
In Extremo - Mein Rasen Herz
Within Temptation - The Silent Force
    Disturbed - The Sickness
    Disturbed - Ten Thousand fists
Betraying The Martyrs - Breathe In Life
Betraying The Martyrs - The Resiliant
Annotations of an Autopsy - The Reign of Darkness
    Fleshworks - Engine of Perdition
    Necrotted - Worldwide Warfare

Only two of them I already own, and most of the Lordi stuff would have appeared on the list eventually anyway, so.. Not bad for ~30€. Considering Veil of Maya is about 8€ and Immortalized is between 4 and 8€ depending.

Got fed up with my on ear AKG's being very uncomfortable while gaming and the non replaceable PU headband disintegrating so I find lumps of it in my hair

I feel ya - My 550s have had two replacement ears over the last god knows how long with the headband just moulting all over the place... I can live with it a little longer but perhaps these might do the trick when Scan delivers the new time-sink...

You can buy replacement headband pads for those on Ebay. Easy enough to do, just be very careful fitting the new one as they are very sticky and won't easily move once they have touched the headband.

Will depend on the headphone, my YBT50's, I contacted AKG they referred me to their repair partner who said they don't sell to public an wanted £50 plus delivery for them to stick on a new pad. New ones the elastic suspension band is replaceable as are ear cups

I was only refering to the K550s, I've not owned other AKG headphones. AKG are very poor for spares, others usually sell spares and my Shure SRH1540s came with spare ear pads and cable in the box.

HDR can be enabled within the Monitors menu system which will then enable it within Windows itself. I don't use HDR personally. I am super happy running 1440p at 165hz.

Side not: Stonks related I purchased BB and AMC shares before the current stoppage buying them. I don't have the funds for GMB.
