At first I was scared when you started painting it because I was in love with the raw materials and colours, but wow am I happy that you painted it! This build came out absolutely stunning!
Honestly I was feeling the exact same, as acrylic and aluminum look great by themselves, and so do the original C700M colours. But the theme was calling and I couldn't make a radical change of plans, so I kept at it and I'm also very happy I did! Thank you so much man
As a Starship owner myself, I like this case but you should post the video as seeing those bling bling in action is super cool.
When I was a little kid the neighbor had a starship Enterprise model his dad painted. It was this exact same blue with a copper satellite dish. I thought at the time, "It's wrong, but it looks cool like that." So using it on a space theme REALLY works in my head. Edit: There's quite a few 'starship' builders here.
Coming soon! Just barely had enough time to shoot the photos before the deadline Blue and copper really work well together especially in Sci-Fi and specifically alien scenarios! About your edit, I don't really see myself or this mod being a "starship" per se, as other modders like to do by building an actual starship model with a pc inside. I see it more like a canvas where I drew my own space story that had a starship as the protagonist

sensational project ... I had seen the photos on instagram but the wordlog 1x ... This acrylic base you are not afraid of with time cracking or something?
Thank you very much! I'm not too worried about that, the blocks are 40x40mm and everything is attached to the aluminum base so the 15mm acrylic panel on the base is basically just sandwiched together, doesn't get much strain at all
As you may already know or have noticed, A.R.ES. won CMWS20! Specifically two prizes: The best Tower Mod And the Best Overall Design award for the Peripherals Mod Thank you so much to everyone who followed and supported this project!
