I was never going to pay full launch price and the early reports of bugs put me off but, for £19, it seemed rude not to.

I thought it was obvious to all and sundry - it was up to 1500 degrees on HUKD - but, by your command, i've posted a link to the deal page in the gaming bargains thread.

    Here is the direct link

Ta muchly :) I did a quick snoop around the forum and thread but couldn't see where it was from, now the proud owner of a bargain.

I put in about six hours yesterday! I honestly didn't expect it to draw me in quite so much.

The only correct amount of wub, is m0ar wub

Another SVS SB13 Ultra to match my existing one, and new too which is fortunate because it was discontinued a couple of years ago and replaced by the SB4000. I assumed I'd have to A) find a S/H one in decent condition, in Gloss, with the latest revision of the amp, with some warranty ideally, that isn't one million miles away or more likely B) getting a new SB4000 which is basically identical, but probably changing the the amp in my SB13 to match (making almost entirely identical)

In looking for ex-demo or trade-in models from the usual suspects noticed AV Online had a "new" one in stock... but at full original RRP, matching the SB4000 anyway. I called to query if it was actually in stock, it was. I pointed out that it's going to be in stock until the end of time at the price they're listing it at and was informed that there's no possible way they can reduce the price. Fair enough then, I'll keep looking.

So I post a wanted thread on AVF and carry on looking, and what I assume is entirely by coincidence the same AV Online product page comes up again in the search up with a 20% discount. Still a smidge over the odds, but I won't be finding another new one and it's a tidy saving over an SB4000.

Just wait until you find the side quests that have no markers and no "help" from waypoints at all.

    Boy are those some doozies.

I'm guessing the miter saw is so you can open those phones for repairs?

I almost bought Cyberpunk for £19..and then I remembered..it. is. not. finished! I am patient. I can wait a year for all the patches and dlc.

GOG tells me I've played it for 10 hours so far, that sounds about right. I've mostly just been doing the main story quests, I've only done a handful of the side quests.

Definitely seeing glitchy weirdness now and then, but it's no worse than Skyrim was. It doesn't make up for all the shitty things CDPR have done, but they do at least seem to be trying to fix things; there are bugs in Skyrim which remain unpatched to this day, despite how many systems it's been released on and how many releases it's had. Plus it runs like absolute arse on my GTX 1060, even when I scale back to 1920x1200 and 'Low' preset - but, again, I expected that going into it. I can get around 45-50fps consistently and at some points it hits 60, so I can live with that for now.

I think if I'd paid full price I'd have be feeling severely underwhelmed so far.

Just curious... is the Shiraz for before or after the planned work?

I'm seeing occasional glitches in volumetric clouds and some odd ambient occlusion weirdness now and then - a quick google suggests this isn't just me - but not much else (apart from a floating chopstick and an enemy NPC who couldn't see me in the middle of a gunfight)

It runs reasonably well at 1440p, so no real performance complaints on that front.

I do like some of the ideas - the whole braindance editing mode was very cool - but the inventory and upgrades system is either too convoluted or too simple for me to grasp completely (I'm a bit thick like that).

Other than that, yeah, I quite like it.

120 hours later and the inventory management system is just ****.

IME the wait time doesn't necessarily correspond to the bar on the screen, so for disassembly and crafting/upgrades, it can lead to doing things twice, thrice, and then swearing.

Not to mention all the crap you collect that is seldom of any use (Unless you install the survival mode mod)..

I'd recommend Cyber Engine Tweaks and Inventory Maid might be worth a look. There's also some potential for weapons to glitch and prevent you removing them from your inventory - Be that for your stash or for selling - And the most consistent tool I found for disposing of that flag is The Edgerunner Bazaar.
