I'm very proud to present to you the Wooden PC Desk Drawer - Version 2.0:

    - Passiv air intake through the bottom of the drawer.
    - The bottom is made of 2 layers:
    • 1st layer is where the MB is located on top.
    • 2nd layer has the dustfilter attached and is removable for easy accesse to cable management.
    - The radiator is an X flow rad which prevents airbubbles from being trapped and making noise.
    - The Pump/Res combo unit is lowered through the 1st bottom, with just the right height to stay clear of the tabel.
    - PSU is from CoolerMaster and is flipped on it's head to allow the cable to disappear into the cable room.
    - On the wall dividing the two rooms i've mounted a GPU support bracket to prevent the card from sagging.
    - The MB standoffs are 20mm in height to allow cables to flow underneath. Giving the build a clean look and cooling of the MB.
    - On the back of the drawer i've glued a silicone membrane into the hole for cables to exit. This is to prevent hot air leaving the rad from being sucked back into the system.
    - In a drawer it's hard to use a reservoir for display purposes, this is because a reservoir mounted horizontally traps air bubbles in the top part. Instead of a "normal reservoir" i've used hard tubing to make my own on the right side of the drawer where no bubble are trapped. It's connected underneath with soft tubing.
    - 4mm holes are drilled for handmade cable sleeving to exit the bottom and attach seamlessly with the MB, matching the Black/Silver theme.
    - And ofc. a THICK 60mm Rad. from Alphacool to cool everything down and mitigate the heat. Paired with High performance fans from Noiseblocker.

    Notice the slim Nordic design.
This build is suppose to look like it's not even possible.

The huge weight of a 15 kg drawer being suspended under a slim and elegant desk which looks thin due to its various chamfers and angles.

All 4 legs are cut in a 3 degree angle, but only on two of the outward-facing sides. This allows the drawer to be located as far away as possible creating more space at the desk. Meanwhile keeping the legs conical matching the build. Notice how they seamlessly line up with the supporting bracket.

Because there is a humongous drawer under the table, there is no support bracket under the desk on the front side. To alleviate the weight i've mounted a diagonal supporting bracket to help out.

At the back i've routed a space for the hot air from the rad. to exit efficiently around the bracket and away.

The drawer is held up on the right side by as list glued into the support bracket. On the left side there's an "L" list with a knob-plunger screwed into it. The knob plunger allows for the drawer to be locked in 2 positions as shown on the pictures.

The glasspanel is actually a 5mm scratch-free polycarbonat sheet glued in place. This is simply to protect the computer from liquids and acidental gunshots, which the manufactures claim it can withstand.. haha.

I don't have any sponsors yet, i've put more money into this project than you can possibly imagine.

It's a lovely build, and a very well thought out design. :thumb: You probably could have done away with the GPU bracket. The underside looks to be well engineered. Most underestimate how much bracing is needed.
 Not 5mm. Don't ask how I know.

    Thanks guys! :D
The GPU bracket is needed for sure, the side bracket can't hold it at all, haha.
If you look at the L list under the table, you'll see a knob plunger that functions as a lock. ;)

    Wow, looking good.
By the way you are the man who inspired my desk as well. I hope I can start soon, and if it just turns out nearly as beautiful as this, I will be very happy with it.

Intake would the motherboard cutouts then?
