Heavy week of meetings I'd rather have not been doing is over... I despise chairing or directing meetings. especially in circumstances where all participants as significantly more senior than me. Not because I find the process boring, but because I hate the idea of embarrassing myself infront of decision makers who make this stuff look really easy. Tripping over my words, saying something stupid or showing any hint of inexperience terrifies me...

But true be told it was why I applied in the first place for a promotion. Push me to be better in the areas I felt the weakest. Some went better then others, most of the participants were also a lot nicer than I’d built myself up to believe!

slowly seeing my confidence build, so far I’ve enjoyed the new found responsibility also!

Turtle came right up and bit me. After some frying, I'll bite him right back.

After some nasty tactics and strong-arming by me, my GP has agreed to shared care under Gendercare's guidance.

The DTW1002Z, even on its most tame setting, made changing wheels hilariously quick and easy. Most excellent.

After putting it off forever and ever, I've finally got around to sorting individual accounts on the various NAS units for the various things that connect to them

I've been taken under the wing of a group of Google Developer Experts, who've kindly offered to get me free access to paid training courses, mentoring, and help source me a job so I can finally restart my career and get out of the poverty trap I've been stuck in

This is a very little thing, but it has lent perspective in the way that financial thresholds sometimes do.

When I first got into system building at uni, 1TB HDDs were £80.

When SSDs appeared on the market, at £100 for a 32GB and so on, we all laughed and wondered if they'd ever become economical.

    Now, a mere 12 years later...a 1TB SSD is £80.

    The future starts now.

Being doing really well on eBay the past few weeks, I’d earmarked a bonus due the end of may to clear a second debt but at this rate I may clear the majority of it prior which will free up that money to clear something else!

    Soooooooo hormone test arrived

T is sitting at a nice low 0.9nmol/L. Estradiol on the other hand... is twice over the recommended upper end at 1541pmol/L

    Oops

Edit: some people have pointed out a change in my eyes. Used to be light green but turned striking dark green. Interesting combination with red hair
